"pomposity"

Strings are plucked as whirrs are in the background, making this feel like it is set in space.  The music video also shows a space shuttle and has an audio clip saying as much, so this definitely feels like a song centered around a space shuttle launch.   The strings then come in and you can see the bow move as they are played.

This song has a big way about it, where it does just feel like it's going to turn into something huge- like a launch.   The end is when it really picks up, so the beginning of the video/song could be seen as the calm before the storm.   It feels a little bit haunted, ominous in the way that it could be fortelling disaster.

An audio clip comes on during the song which says we choose to do these things not because they are easy but because they are hard.  I get it.  I do.  You shouldn't give up on something just because it's difficult.  But, at the same time, certain things maybe shouldn't be tempted with- such as space travel.  It's a risk/reward situation really.

At times this can feel relaxing, but as soon as those notes hit with that gong sound it all settles in.   If this were a movie then something bad would be about to happen.  This space mission would not go the way it was intended.   This song just has that way about it, which seems to foreshadow specific events, and perhaps in that way it should come to you as a warning in your every day life.
