Music Review // Terra Renae "Manifest It"

 

What I like about "Manifest It" by Terra Renae right away is that I believe you can manifest things in the sense that what you put out into the world is what you get back.  The experts will even tell you that if you can't see yourself doing something then you won't ever do it.  So much of life is just seeing what you want, believing it and then doing it.  Or, as this song says, "Manifest It', which feels like a powerful anthem for change.

Terra Renae finds all of the pop soul in certain songs by artists such as Britney Spears.  Though through these beats there is also a nice guitar riff, just showing that while this music can be widely appealing, such as Jennifer Lopez, it just also has some qualities which cannot be fully compared with others.  In that sense, "Manifest It" becomes the type of song that when you hear it, even just the music not the singing or lyrics, you'll recognize it right away, which isn't always easy to do in this modern age of music.

Throughout the lyrics, Terra Renae hits the right words which can inspire you and can also lead to you using them as quotations of your own.  We need to have a sticker to place wherever we want that says "When you lost it be a boss bitch" because it just encourages you to keep going.  But as you can believe if you feel the manifestation: "What you see is what you believe" and that is the power of positive thinking.

While all of this can be rather affirming, you also have to consider the opposite side of it.  If you're walking around all the time with your head down, feeling sad and saying that your life won't ever amount to anything, guess what?  You're probably right.  So heads up, put this song on repeat, find what you love to do and go out there and do it.   Nothing is going to change without action and the first step is listening to this song for inspiration.
